ONE LICENSE unveils a more powerful Practice-Track License

Chicago, Illinois—Teaching music to a church choir, soloist, and ensemble just became much easier.

ONE LICENSE has totally revamped the pricing structure of its Practice-Track License. Now, for a simple and affordable annual fee, church music directors can share both commercial tracks and their own recordings of music from Member Publishers for practice and rehearsal purposes.

This should be welcome news to music directors who use recordings to help teach songs to their choir members, cantors, and other musicians. No more keeping track of blocks of credits!

A Practice-Track License allows church music directors to share commercial recordings, demo recordings, or personally recorded versions of covered songs (individual voice tracks, for example) with their choir members and musicians. Directors may burn CDs, send MP3s via email, or upload tracks to share through a secure location.

As with other licenses offered through ONE LICENSE, directors must report the songs they use via the easy-to-use ONE LICENSE platform. These reports ensure that composers who create the music you use are compensated.

Member Publishers include OCP, GIA, WLP, Hope Publishing, Augsburg Fortress, Concordia, and many other publishes of sacred music.
