World Library Publications, the music and liturgy division of J.S. Paluch Company, Inc., to become a participating Member Publisher of ONE LICENSE

Chicago, Illinois—World Library Publications (WLP), the music and liturgy division of J.S. Paluch Company, Inc., announced the company will become a Member Publisher of ONE LICENSE, the leading licensor of congregational music for Roman Catholic and mainline Protestant churches and schools, effective March 1, 2017.

ONE LICENSE serves nearly 20,000 communities worldwide, offering a range of licenses to churches and schools seeking to reprint or project copyrighted music for the congregation, to podcast or stream services containing that music, or to share recordings for rehearsal purposes. More than 75 leading publishers of congregational music are members of ONE LICENSE.

“By participating as a publisher with ONE LICENSE, WLP is confident that we can now better serve those who use the music we publish—and better protect the rights of our composers and artists,” said Jerry Galipeau, Vice President and Chief Publishing Officer of WLP.

This decision follows the historic merger between OneLicense.net and LicenSing Online on January 1, 2017. The new ONE LICENSE is jointly owned by two other liturgical music publishers: OCP and GIA Publications, Inc.

WLP’s decision to join ONE LICENSE means that, for the first time, a single license will be available to congregations seeking the music of the three largest music publishers serving Roman Catholic parishes.

Alec Harris, president of GIA Publications, Inc., and OneLicense, LLC, stated, “We are honored that World Library Publications has decided to join ONE LICENSE as a Member Publisher. Churches and schools will find the convenience of a single robust platform for their licensing needs to be an exciting and truly affordable option. With ONE LICENSE, our goal is to support both congregations and the creative work of liturgical composers.”

Member Publishers include Hope Publishing, Augsburg Fortress, Concordia, and Oxford University Press, among many others.

ONE LICENSE is an online licensing service committed to making it easy to obtain reprint permissions for congregational music. From Annual, Event, and Single-Use Reprint Licenses to Practice-Track and Podcast/Streaming Licenses, we have a license that will meet your congregational music reprint needs.
